Language
Portuguese is the national language. It is spoken with rhythmic intonation and in a relaxed way unknown in Portugal. English is the second language spoken specially in hotels, restaurants and other tourist places. Spanish is now part of the school curriculum, overviewing South America’s Southern integration through Mercosul, the regional economic group formed by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
